The Ready Suite

One record for the life of the site.

BESSReady is the safety records platform for a battery energy storage site. The emergency plan, responder training, inspection history, and AHJ documents live in one place, organized the way a fire official or an independent inspector actually reads a site.

BESSReady Core

Core is the shared foundation under every module. It is not a fifth product and it does not have its own logo.

  • Site registry, so each facility has one home.
  • Document library, with the current version easy to find.
  • People and roles, including who responds to the site.
  • Deadlines, an audit trail, and secure sharing.

Where the work happens

Operators use the app at app.bessready.com. Responder portals use the operator's own address, such as acme.bessready.com, with a "Powered by BESSReady" mark. This marketing site stays on bessready.com.

Signal teal · §187.004(c)

Plan

EOP and hazard mitigation builder. Plan follows the structure of a site-specific emergency operations plan: hazards, mitigation, shutdown and isolation, drills, and the copy that goes to the local fire service before commercial operations.

Plan keeps versions, so the file the fire department has and the file on the site are the same generation. It does not stamp the plan as an engineered deliverable, and it does not close AHJ comments for you.

Train ember · §187.004(e)

Train

Responder training record. Chapter 187 calls for education and annual training offered to local first responders at no cost to them, including the technology, responder safety, hazards, the site plan, and an on-site review of the perimeter, major equipment, and ways in and out.

Train records the offer and who completed it. The operator still provides the training. A completion record is not, by itself, a claim that a legal training duty is fully satisfied.

Vault green · §187.003(g)

Vault

Five-year compliance vault. At least every five years the operator contracts, at the operator's expense, an independent third-party engineer licensed in Texas or another qualified consultant. The report goes to the city, or to the county if the site is outside city limits.

Vault keeps the plan, the maintenance and alarm history, and the prior reports those reviewers need. Vault does not perform the inspection and does not hire the engineer.

Intake blue · §187.003(e)–(f)

Intake

AHJ dossier intake. When a county, a city, or a fire marshal asks for the record, Intake assembles a bookmarked binder from the shared site file instead of a fresh scavenger hunt.

Intake does not file the package for you, and it does not speak for the authority having jurisdiction. Their review is still their review.

References, named plainly

The modules are built around Texas Utilities Code Chapter 187. Materials also reference NFPA 855, IFC Section 1207, and UL 9540/9540A. Those names describe the standards the record is organized against. They are not a certification of the platform or of a site.
